Infectious disease specialists, epidemiologists, and clinical scientists are invited to submit original infectious disease research, outbreak studies, and clinical trial data. Accepted abstracts will be presented as oral talks or posters before an international scientific audience in San Diego.

Before you submit

Follow the official structure, word limits, and ethics policies so your infectious disease research abstract moves smoothly through scientific review.

  • Structured sections: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions (where applicable).
  • Typical limit: 250–300 words for the abstract body (excluding title and authors).
  • Figures in the PDF must be readable at print size; embed fonts when possible.
